What may not be done
No part of this publication or website, including but not limited to its text, images, illustrations, photographs, artworks, scans, interviews, essays, poems, captions, titles, layout, design, typography, sequencing, editorial selection, art direction, visual identity, downloadable files, screenshots, metadata, and overall compilation, may be copied, reproduced, printed, downloaded for redistribution, screenshotted for publication, uploaded, stored, archived, mirrored, scraped, indexed, sold, licensed, rented, transmitted, translated, adapted, modified, cropped, edited, filtered, reposted, embedded, distributed, publicly displayed, commercially exploited, or used in any form or by any means without prior written permission from NoThemeYet Magazine and/or the relevant rights holder, except where such use is expressly permitted by applicable law.
This applies, without limitation, to use in databases, archives, moodboards, commercial presentations, press kits, newsletters, social media posts, websites, blogs, marketplace listings, and educational packets.
Text mining, image mining, and AI training
The same restriction applies, without limitation, to use in image datasets, text datasets, machine-learning datasets, artificial-intelligence training, model training, model fine-tuning, scraping systems, automated extraction systems, or any other data-mining, text-mining, image-mining, or computational process, unless prior written permission has been granted by NoThemeYet Magazine and/or the relevant rights holder, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
No licence granted
Nothing in this publication should be understood as granting any licence under copyright, trademark, design right, moral right, publicity right, privacy right, database right, neighbouring right, or any other intellectual-property or personal right, except the limited right to view the issue for personal, non-commercial purposes through NoThemeYet Magazine’s official channels.
Contributor copyright and compilation copyright
Unless otherwise stated, copyright in individual contributions remains with the respective writers, artists, photographers, illustrators, designers, interviewees, and other contributors. Each contribution is published by permission. Copyright in the editorial compilation, design, layout, art direction, captions, sequencing, masthead, issue structure, visual identity, and magazine concept belongs to NoThemeYet Magazine, unless otherwise credited.
Contributor confirmations
By submitting work, material, text, images, files, captions, biographies, statements, links, or any other content for consideration or publication, contributors confirm that they are the creator, owner, authorised representative, or lawful rights holder of the material, or that they have obtained all necessary permissions, licences, releases, and consents required for online publication; that the material does not knowingly infringe any third-party rights; and that they remain responsible for the legality, originality, accuracy, authorship, ownership, permissions, and clearance of what they submit, including any third-party works, brands, logos, people, private locations, archival material, quotations, screenshots, scans, or documents it contains. Full terms are on the Contributor Terms page.
Non-commercial publication and no payment
NoThemeYet Magazine is an independent, non-commercial publication. It is free to read, carries no advertising, has no paywall, and currently generates no revenue. Every member of the team, including the editors, works on the magazine unpaid. No payment, fee, royalty, or other compensation is made, owed, or implied to contributors for the submission, consideration, or publication of work, and no fee is charged to contributors or readers. This is stated openly before submission so that contributors can decide with full information. Submitting or publishing work does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with NoThemeYet Magazine. Contributors keep copyright in their work and publication is non-exclusive, as set out on the Contributor Terms page.
Images, permissions, and credits
Images, artworks, photographs, illustrations, and visual materials are used with permission from the relevant creator, contributor, archive, agency, studio, gallery, publisher, brand, or rights holder, or under applicable legal exceptions where relevant. Credits, captions, and rights information are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of publication.
Rights concerns and takedown
If you believe that any material in this issue has been used or credited incorrectly, published without proper authorisation, or otherwise raises a rights concern, contact hello@nothemeyetmag.com with the issue number, page number, the material in question, your contact details, and relevant proof of ownership, authorship, authority, or rights. NoThemeYet Magazine will review the matter in good faith and may correct, amend, credit, restrict, remove, or otherwise address the material where appropriate. See the Permissions, Copyright & Takedown page.
Moral rights and chosen credits
The moral rights of contributors to be identified as the authors or creators of their work are respected. Where a contributor chooses to appear under a legal name, professional name, studio name, pen name, alias, initials, anonymous credit, or no visible credit, that choice is intentional and should be respected. No reader, platform, publication, or third party may misrepresent, falsely attribute, expose, or alter a contributor’s chosen credit.
Opinions and independence
NoThemeYet Magazine is an independent editorial and artistic publication. The views, opinions, memories, interpretations, statements, creative positions, and factual claims expressed by contributors, interviewees, featured subjects, and external collaborators are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of NoThemeYet Magazine, its editors, team, collaborators, or affiliated persons.
Featuring is not endorsement
When NoThemeYet features a contributor or their work, it means we chose that particular piece, on its own terms, because we wanted to publish it, and nothing more. It is not an endorsement of the contributor as a person, of their other work, or of their public statements, opinions, conduct, affiliations, or public image, past, present, or future, which we may not be aware of and may not agree with. The presence of a contribution does not associate NoThemeYet with anything its maker has said or done, or may say or do, elsewhere.
Where and when a work appears
Featuring a work in NoThemeYet is not exclusive. The same work may have appeared elsewhere before it is published here, and may appear elsewhere afterwards, unless we have separately agreed otherwise. A feature may include our own editorial discussion of the work and of its maker. Once a work has been published in an issue, it becomes part of that issue and its online archive and is not withdrawn simply on request: any request to remove, amend, or stop using a work is handled through the process set out on the Contributor Terms and Permissions pages, and the issue may remain available while a request is considered, subject to any separate agreement and to what is technically and editorially possible.
The issue is a closed work
Each issue of NoThemeYet is composed, edited, and published as a single, finished editorial work. Its contents, sequencing, pairings, design, and rhythm were chosen deliberately and belong together. For that reason, published material is not removed, replaced, or unpublished simply because someone asks or later changes their mind. NoThemeYet will consider removing or amending material only where a request identifies a genuine legal ground, such as copyright or other rights infringement, or another legal requirement, or where NoThemeYet decides, at its own editorial discretion, that a change is warranted. Requests are handled through the process on the Permissions, Copyright & Takedown page.
References and no affiliation
References to any person, artist, designer, writer, photographer, brand, company, institution, product, service, artwork, book, film, exhibition, location, platform, publication, archive, or cultural object are made for editorial, artistic, critical, descriptive, informational, or cultural-discussion purposes only. Such references do not imply sponsorship, partnership, affiliation, approval, endorsement, representation, collaboration, or commercial relationship unless explicitly stated.
Trademarks
All trademarks, logos, trade names, brand names, product names, company names, service names, and other identifiers appearing in this publication are the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion is for identification, commentary, criticism, cultural discussion, or descriptive purposes only.
Accuracy, errors, and responsibility
NoThemeYet Magazine makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information is accurate at the time of online publication. However, this publication may contain errors, omissions, subjective interpretations, artistic choices, outdated information, creative statements, typographical errors, or editorial opinions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NoThemeYet Magazine accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, misunderstanding, reliance, or other consequences arising from the use of, reference to, or reliance on information contained in this publication.
No professional advice
Nothing in this publication should be understood as legal, medical, psychological, financial, professional, academic, technical, commercial, or safety advice. Readers should seek appropriate professional advice where needed.
External links and third-party platforms
Any external websites, QR codes, social media accounts, third-party platforms, archives, shops, galleries, publications, articles, videos, playlists, files, or other resources mentioned, embedded, referenced, or linked in this issue are provided for reference only. NoThemeYet Magazine is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, legality, data practices, privacy policies, security, or conduct of third-party platforms or external sources.
Third-party misuse
NoThemeYet Magazine is not responsible for unauthorised copying, reposting, downloading, printing, archiving, scraping, resale, platform sharing, or misuse of this issue by readers, websites, bots, social media accounts, artificial-intelligence systems, third-party platforms, or other external actors.
Changes and withdrawal
NoThemeYet Magazine reserves the right to correct, amend, update, restrict, replace, remove, clarify, or withdraw any material in this issue, in future digital versions, online archives, public statements, or related communications where necessary.
