Permissions, Copyright & Takedown

This page explains how to ask permission to use our material, and how to raise a concern if you believe something has been used incorrectly. We take rights seriously and try to deal with concerns quickly and in good faith.

Requesting permission

Most uses of NoThemeYet content beyond personal, non-commercial reading need written permission. If you would like to reproduce, republish, translate, quote at length, display, or otherwise use any part of the website or the magazine, email hello@nothemeyetmag.com and tell us:

• who you are and how to reach you;
• the exact material you would like to use (issue, page, or URL);
• where and how you intend to use it;
• whether the use is commercial.

Some material is created by contributors who retain their own copyright. In those cases we may direct you to, or seek the agreement of, the relevant rights holder as well.

Reporting a rights concern or requesting takedown

If you believe that material has been used incorrectly, or that it infringes your copyright or other rights, please email hello@nothemeyetmag.com with:

• the issue, page, or URL where the material appears;
• a clear description of the material in question;
• your name and contact details;
• proof of ownership, authorship, authorisation, or other rights;
• an explanation of your concern;
• the action you are requesting.

NoThemeYet will review the request in good faith and may correct, amend, credit, restrict, remove, or otherwise address the material where appropriate. Providing accurate information helps us respond properly.

When material is removed

Each issue of NoThemeYet is a closed, finished editorial work: its contents, sequencing, pairings, and design were composed deliberately and belong together. We do not take down published material simply because someone asks. Removal, restriction, or amendment is considered only where a request identifies a genuine rights issue, such as copyright infringement, or another legal ground, or where NoThemeYet decides, at its own editorial discretion, that a change is warranted. Disliking a piece, changing one’s mind about appearing, or objecting to lawful editorial content is not, by itself, a ground for removal.

Corrections and credits

If something is wrong, missing a credit, or credited incorrectly, tell us and we will look into it. Contributors who wish to change a credit, correct a detail, or raise a rights concern about their own work should also use hello@nothemeyetmag.com; see the Contributor Terms for more.

Good faith

We aim to handle permissions and concerns reasonably and fairly. Reviewing a concern does not, by itself, mean we accept any particular claim, and acting on a request does not amount to an admission of fault.
